Feedback in the workplace is important, but the tr Feedback in the workplace is important, but the truth is, not all feedback is helpful.

In order to grow professionally, we need constructive and specific feedback.

Delivering effective feedback is a skill. And just like any other skill, it takes practice to get it right.

Practice being specific when giving feedback and providing suggestions for the future.

When we give feedback to our teams, they feel more supported by us and are more likely to follow our lead and do what we expect of them. This means better results for everyone!
One way to reprioritize and recenter is to slow do One way to reprioritize and recenter is to slow down.

It may sound counter-intuitive, but we can slow things down in order to speed up.

Taking time to prioritize the things that matter most actually allows us to intentionally move you toward our goals, instead of running in circles putting out fires.

Slowing down looks different for everyone. Maybe it means starting your day by meditating, or maybe it means limiting the number of meetings you take in a week.

Whatever it is, think about how you can slow down and focus more of your energy on the things that matter most.
Happy August! There’s something about starting Happy August!

There’s something about starting a new week and month on the same day. It’s a completely fresh start!

It’s also a great time to set (or revisit) your goals and intentions.

What are you working towards this month? It can be a personal or professional goal. Let us know in the comments so we can cheer you on!🥳
It’s easy to get caught in a cycle of overcommit It’s easy to get caught in a cycle of overcommitting and under performing.

We all know the feeling and it doesn’t feel good! So how can we avoid this? Practice prioritizing!

If everything is top priority, then nothing is. It’s up to us to decide where and how we want to spend our time and energy.

Take some time to prioritize the things that matter most—the projects and tasks that move you toward your goals—and stop worrying about everything else.

Stay tuned for more tips to help you prioritize what matters!
What would you try this week if you knew you could What would you try this week if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Would you pick up a new skill? Apply for the promotion? Create an LLC?

As much as we wish it wasn’t, failure is a part of life. Yes, it’s scary, but it also makes going for what you want all the more worth it.

So take the risk! Put yourself out there. Even if you fail, you’ll learn something along the way and maybe even find yourself somewhere better than you could have expected.
A great habit to get into is closing out the work A great habit to get into is closing out the work week. Not just shutting your laptop, but really intentionally making the transition from work to rest.

This process can look different for everyone, but creating a little separation can help us focus on enjoying the weekend instead of stressing about everything that was left undone - or thinking about what needs to get done on Monday.

Take some time to make a list of what you need to tackle on Monday so you don’t have to think about it over the weekend. Close out all the open tabs on your computer AND the ones in your head.

Give yourself permission to unplug and enjoy some time away. Have a great weekend!
